Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched on PS5 and PC, earning 4.5/5 from nearly 4,000 verified PlayStation Store votes; PS Plus members can claim a limited-time free cosmetic pack.

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls launched this week on PlayStation 5 and PC. The PlayStation Store lists a 4.5 out of 5 rating based on nearly 4,000 verified votes from users.

The game is a 4v4 tag-team fighter that lets players assemble squads of Marvel characters. At launch it features a 20-character base roster rendered in an anime-inspired art style, with characters assigned to unique teams of heroes and villains.

Sony Interactive Entertainment published the title. Arc System Works developed the game with Marvel Games listed as a partner. The console release is on PS5 and a PC version is also available.

Sony is offering a limited-time PS Plus pack free to subscribers. The pack includes five PlayStation avatars — Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider — and adds victory-screen poses for each hero in the 20-character base roster. The product page does not list a long-term availability window for the pack.

An official overview reads: “Assemble your team of legendary Marvel characters in the ultimate 4v4 tag team fighter from PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works and Marvel Games. Choose from an expanding roster of 20 iconic Marvel characters at launch, each rendered in a bold new anime-inspired art style and members of their own unique teams of equally impressive heroes and villains.”

Professional reviews are still being published and the store overview does not detail post-launch paid content plans or the schedule for timed events.
