Marvel Tokon PS5 Open Beta Runs July 24–26

Arc System Works and Sony Interactive Entertainment will run a free global open beta for the PS5-exclusive fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls from July 24 to 26. The test will be available on PS5 and on PC for players who sign in with a PlayStation Network account. Blade will be a playable character during the beta.

The beta follows the release of the game’s final team trailer and gives players a short window to try the title ahead of its full release. The companies indicated they will publish additional details about beta features, matchmaking and how to participate in the coming days. The test is free to join and runs only for the three days in late July.

Arc System Works describes Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls as a PS5 console exclusive. The full game is scheduled to launch on August 6, 2026.

The developer released the complete launch roster alongside the trailer. Characters listed include Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Black Panther, Doctor Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage, Storm, Wolverine, Magik, Danger, Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker, Blade, Deadpool, Loki and Ghost Rider.

Arc System Works also introduced a new stage based on Asgard. The company described the stage as composed of five connected areas: the Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Vault and Yggdrasil, the World Tree. The stage appears in the trailer and will be part of the game environments players can encounter.

More information about the open beta’s features and matchmaking will be released ahead of the test. The full game will arrive on August 6, 2026, for PS5.
