Microsoft launches Xbox Player Voice feedback portal
Xbox Player Voice is a live portal where players can submit, track and follow Microsoft’s responses to feedback; it replaces the Xbox Cloud Gaming feedback portal.
Microsoft has launched Xbox Player Voice, a live portal that centralizes player feedback and is available now. The company announced the service on its Xbox Wire blog and said it will retire the Xbox Cloud Gaming feedback portal.
The portal gives players a single place to submit feedback, see when submissions have been received and reviewed, follow updates if teams take action, and track how input relates to other work. Microsoft described the experience as starting small and evolving over time based on what proves useful.
Xbox head Asha Sharma has prioritized more organized fan engagement since assuming leadership, and the portal aligns with that approach. Microsoft said the effort aims to move feedback collection beyond scattered social posts and separate portals into a clearer, trackable process.
Microsoft noted Xbox Player Voice will not replace other channels. The company will continue to monitor the Xbox Insider Hub for testing and bug reports, support forums for help and troubleshooting, and social channels for ongoing conversation.
“This doesn’t mean every piece of feedback will turn into a feature or result in a change,” the announcement stated. Teams will review and organize submissions so they can be considered alongside other work; some ideas may move forward quickly, others may take longer, and some may not be actionable.
Xbox Player Voice is live and already contains player suggestions. Microsoft said it will share meaningful updates when available and will adjust the portal based on user feedback and internal priorities.
