Mixtape launches day one on Xbox Game Pass

Mixtape, developed by Beethoven & Dinosaur, launched day one on Xbox Game Pass on May 7. The title is available on Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Game Pass subscribers on those platforms can download or stream the game without a separate purchase.

Mixtape is a narrative coming-of-age adventure that places music at the core of its story. The developer describes Mixtape as drawing on “classic coming-of-age movies” and bringing together “nostalgic aimlessness, mischief, music, the highs and lows of adolescence, and the bittersweet feelings brought about by growth, transformation, and moving on.”

Beethoven & Dinosaur previously developed The Artful Escape, which won a BAFTA award. Mixtape is the studio’s next project following that release.

The game is offered on release day as part of the Game Pass library for supported platforms, allowing subscribers immediate access on console, PC and compatible cloud devices.
