Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise and its Sunbreak expansion are available as a PlayStation Store bundle for $9.59 through Thursday, Sept. 24. The bundle includes the base game and the Sunbreak expansion and is offered for PS5 and PS4 as a cross-buy purchase.
The package is marked down from $59.99. The standard edition of the base game is on sale separately for $7.99, an 80% discount.
The promotion is a limited-time offer on the PlayStation Store. Players who already own Monster Hunter Rise can access it from their libraries. PlayStation Plus subscribers should check their libraries, as the base game was distributed free to PS Plus members in March 2026.
An official overview describes the game as offering expanded maps, new monsters and a ‘new, dynamic style of hunting action’ that lets players traverse environments more freely. The overview highlights series additions such as the Wirebug movement tool and the Palamute companion, which can be ridden and used in combat.
Additional free and paid add-ons for Monster Hunter Rise are listed on the PlayStation Store. Online multiplayer requires a PlayStation Plus membership. PS Plus Premium members can cloud stream the title on PS5 or via Sony’s PS Portal. The sale covers both PS4 and PS5 versions through cross-buy, granting access on either console.
