Moros Protocol launches on PS5 with a PS Plus discount
Moros Protocol, a sci-fi action game for PS5, launched on the PlayStation Store last week at $24.99, with a 20% discount for PS Plus members.
Developed by Pixel Reign and published by Super Rare Games, Moros Protocol is available on the PlayStation Store for $24.99. PlayStation Plus members can buy it for $19.99 during the launch discount.
The game draws on first-person shooters from the 1990s and early 2000s. It combines fast combat with procedurally generated levels, meaning the layouts change between runs, and boss fights influenced by Souls-like games.
Moros Protocol is set aboard an abandoned warship in space. The player wakes up without any memory of what happened and fights enemies and large creatures while exploring the ship.
The game uses low-poly visuals with pixel-style textures. Its enemies can change during play, so encounters may differ between runs.
Moros Protocol supports solo play and online co-op for two players. A PlayStation Plus subscription is required for online multiplayer. The game has an average rating of 4.48 out of five stars on the PlayStation Store and a “Very Positive” user rating on Steam.
