Moss: The Forgotten Relic coming to PS5 this summer, no PS VR2
Polyarc will release Moss: The Forgotten Relic on PS5 this summer with enhanced visuals and no PS VR2 support.
Polyarc announced Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a single release combining Moss and Moss: Book II, will launch on PlayStation 5 this summer. The developer also listed versions for Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC and said the package will not include PS VR2 support.
The studio described the compiled edition as enhanced and reimagined. It will include improved visuals and performance, new handcrafted cutscenes, a “Smart Follow” camera system and all Twilight Garden downloadable content. Polyarc added a new accessibility option called “Skip Combat” and published a trailer outlining the features.
Moss first released in 2019 for PlayStation VR and followed Quill, a young mouse protagonist, on an adventure. Moss: Book II arrived in 2022 on virtual reality platforms as a sequel. The Forgotten Relic collects both titles into one package for players on current-generation consoles and PC without requiring VR hardware.
No specific release date beyond a summer window was provided. The studio has not announced virtual reality support or explicit compatibility with PS VR2 for the compiled edition.
