Myst and Riven PS5 Remakes 20% Off on PS Store

Myst and Riven PS5 remakes are 20% off on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation Plus members through May 26. PS Plus subscribers pay $27.99 for each title; non-subscribers are charged $34.99.

The discount requires any tier of PS Plus and is available only on the PlayStation Store. The remakes have appeared in a PlayStation Store promotion for the first time.

Both remakes are PS5 Pro-enhanced and support PSVR2. The updates include improved visuals and optional virtual reality play while preserving the original games’ puzzles and environments.

Official descriptions emphasize exploration and narrative. The Myst overview reads, “Journey to Myst Island and other stunning, long-dormant locations — called Ages — and begin to unravel the mystery you have been thrust into.” The Myst description adds, “As you learn what happened on the island, you will find that you are playing a key role in an epic story whose ending has not yet been written.” Riven’s overview states, “Riven takes you on a journey through dense jungles, awe-inspiring caverns, and monolithic structures” and notes the game’s world is shaped by “a man who sees himself as a god.”

The sale ends May 26; after that subscribers and non-subscribers will pay the standard $34.99 price unless Sony or the publisher offers another discount.
