Leaker NateTheHate Stops Giving Exact Reveal Dates

NateTheHate will stop sharing specific reveal dates after missing an end-of-April timing for an extended Star Fox 64 remake announcement.

The leaker NateTheHate wrote on X that he will no longer provide exact reveal dates after failing to match an end-of-April timing his source gave for an extended Star Fox 64 remake announcement.

NateTheHate’s source had told him Nintendo planned the reveal at the end of April, but the announcement did not arrive on the precise date he expected. He acknowledged the miss was only a few days and said he will be more cautious about sharing specific dates because Nintendo’s plans can change.

Earlier posts from NateTheHate have reported that Nintendo is working on a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and a new Star Fox entry intended for the Nintendo Switch 2. He maintains that the information about the Star Fox remake remains legitimate despite the timing error. On X he wrote, “I have no update to share, the intent was to reveal this month.”

NateTheHate previously published a correct report that Nintendo had a Star Fox project in development, a track record that has increased his visibility among followers and people who track gaming industry rumors.

He added he will avoid giving exact dates going forward and attributed the incorrect timing to shifting plans within Nintendo rather than to faulty sourcing.

Nintendo has not announced an official reveal date for an extended Star Fox 64 remake or a new Star Fox title. If confirmed, the remake would be another high-profile update of a Nintendo 64-era game aimed at Nintendo’s next console.
