Neighbors: Suburban Warfare free on PS5

Neighbors: Suburban Warfare is available as a free download on the PlayStation Store for PS5. The title entered early access in April 2025 and reached version 1.0 on September 30, 2025. The game is offered on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The PlayStation Store shows a 4.38 out of 5 rating for the title.

The developer’s official description calls the game ‘a chaotic multiplayer party brawler where everyday neighbors turn lawn disputes into full-blown house-destroying mayhem.’ Players join online matches, form teams and choose characters with distinct playstyles before entering games that mix cooperative and competitive objectives.

Match types include Destruction, where teams aim to demolish an opponent’s house; Brawl, which removes structures and focuses on knocking out rival players; Prop Hunt, in which players hide as everyday objects while opponents search for them; and Robot Invasion, which tasks teams with defending properties against a coordinated robot assault.

The game promotes that ‘anything can be a weapon,’ offering throwable and melee items such as frying pans, slingshots, golf clubs and tomatoes. Environmental interactions include elements like a flock of seagulls that can disrupt players by showering them with droppings.

PS5 owners can download the full 1.0 release from the PlayStation Store at no cost and join online matches. Xbox Series X|S and PC players can access the same release on their platform storefronts.
