Neon Abyss 2 Launches Today On PS5 With New Content

Neon Abyss 2 is now available on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 5. The game is also available on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and PC. Kepler Interactive published the title.

The launch version includes content developed during the game’s early access period on PC. Players can fight through eight procedurally generated levels alone or in online multiplayer for up to four people.

Each run centers on combining weapons, items and Hatchmon companions to create a new setup. Weapon affixes give players additional ways to adjust their equipment during a run.

The new final boss, Theia: Goddess of Vanity, uses broken mirrors, gemstones and neon effects in her attacks. The launch version also adds Storm Breach, a mode built around continuous combat. One-way doors prevent players from returning to earlier areas, requiring them to continue through successive fights.

The base game costs $19.99 on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus members can receive a 20% discount through October 22, reducing the price to $15.99. The $29.99 Deluxe Edition includes the base game, the Archenemy Returns downloadable content and the Supporter Pack.
