NEOWIZ quietly releases Shape of Dreams on PS5

NEOWIZ has released a PlayStation 5 port of Shape of Dreams, the 2025 action roguelite from developer Lizard Smoothie. The PS5 edition appeared on the PlayStation Store without advance announcement and is listed at $24.99.

Shape of Dreams originally launched on PC in September 2025. The game has received positive critical response and holds a Top Critic Average of 86 out of 100 on review aggregators.

The game combines hack-and-slash combat with team mechanics inspired by multiplayer online battle arenas and a procedural run structure. Players move through varied environments including lava fields, blizzard-covered mountains and cosmic stages, dodge waves of enemies, land skill shots and select upgrades that change each run.

Shape of Dreams supports solo play and up to four-player cooperative sessions. It includes nine playable travelers with distinct ability sets that can be built differently between runs. The roguelite design offers four difficulty levels and multiple demanding boss fights.

NEOWIZ is selling the PS5 port for $24.99 on the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus subscribers receive a 20% discount, bringing the price to $19.99 for a limited period; the promotional price ends on October 1, 2026. The release is currently available through the PlayStation Store listing for PS5.
