Ninja Gaiden 4 PS5 Standard Edition Half-Price at $34.99

Ninja Gaiden 4, co-developed by Team Ninja and PlatinumGames and published by Xbox Game Studios, is 50% off on the PlayStation Store as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2026 promotion. The digital PS5 standard edition is $34.99; the Deluxe Edition is not included in the offer.

The discount applies only to the PlayStation storefront. It is the first time the game has been offered at half price on the PlayStation Store. The title is available on multiple platforms, and PS Plus Premium members can stream the game via cloud streaming.

Ninja Gaiden 4 continues the series after 2012’s Ninja Gaiden 3. The game is set in a near-future Tokyo affected by a mysterious haze and supernatural forces. Players control Yakumo, a young ninja who fights cybernetic soldiers and otherworldly creatures while confronting a destiny tied to the legendary Ryu Hayabusa.

The official plot description reads: “An endless rain of miasma hangs over a near-future Tokyo in the wake of an ancient enemy’s resurrection. The fate of the city lies in the hands of young ninja prodigy, Yakumo. Fighting his way through cybernetic ninja soldiers and otherworldly creatures, Yakumo must reconcile a destiny he shares with the legendary Ryu Hayabusa himself and free Tokyo from the ancient curse that brought the city to its knees.”

Metacritic lists the PS5 version at 79 out of 100. The PC and Xbox versions are listed at 82 out of 100. Consumers should check the PlayStation Store for regional availability, pricing and the promotion’s end date.
