Nintendo releases 10-track Star Fox: Switch 2 sampler

Nintendo released a 10-track Star Fox: Switch 2 soundtrack sampler on May 8, 2026 to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers through the Nintendo Music app for iOS and Android.

The sampler is listed in the app as “Star Fox – Switch 2 (Special Release) – 8th May 2026” and includes the following tracks: Title Theme, Opening Theme, Corneria, Star Map, Meteo, Area 6, Star Wolf’s Theme, Main Menu, Venom Incident and Mission Accomplished.

The release is available to users with an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription on mobile devices rather than via the console storefront. The sampler appears in the app’s special releases section dated May 8, 2026.

The Star Fox: Switch 2 game is scheduled to launch on June 25, 2026, about seven weeks after the sampler was published.

The Nintendo Music app also hosts the Lylat Wars soundtrack, the European title for Star Fox 64, which contains 39 tracks and offers a wider selection from the franchise’s past releases.

Subscribers can stream the sampler on phones and tablets through the Nintendo Music app while the full game and its complete soundtrack remain scheduled for the June 25 release.
