Nintendo adds A Link Between Worlds soundtrack to Nintendo Music

Nintendo added the full A Link Between Worlds soundtrack to the Nintendo Music app on Nintendo Switch this week. The upload contains 105 tracks with a total runtime of about 2 hours and 31 minutes. Access requires an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

The album includes music tied to Hyrule and to Lorule, boss and dungeon themes, and alternate arrangements listed under the Milk Bar Musicians. The app’s track list names cues such as the opening theme, Yuga’s theme, Ganon’s theme, village and castle music, event fanfares and the credits.

Ryō Nagamatsu is credited as the composer for the score. His credits include work on the Mario Kart and Splatoon series and on the 2019 Switch release of Link’s Awakening.

The addition expands the Nintendo Music app’s Zelda offerings. Other scores available to subscribers include Breath of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Ocarina of Time, Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, A Link to the Past and the original NES titles.

A Link Between Worlds was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2013. The game is set in a version of Hyrule that has connections to A Link to the Past and features a parallel land called Lorule.

Subscribers can stream the soundtrack through the Nintendo Music app on Switch. The app lists the full track names for users who want to find specific cues.
