Nintendo adds Donkey Kong Bananza theme to Alarmo

Nintendo released an update today for its Alarmo sound clock that adds a Donkey Kong Bananza theme. The update delivers seven new alarm tones drawn from Donkey Kong Bananza and applies a Donkey Kong–themed visual treatment to the clock interface.

One of the seven tones is based on the Emerald Rush downloadable content for Donkey Kong Bananza. The other six are taken from music and effects in the base game featuring Donkey Kong and Pauline.

Nintendo announced the Alarmo additions alongside other Donkey Kong-related news earlier today. The company has not yet published official English patch notes for the update, so exact file sizes, installation steps and any additional adjustments are not available.

The Alarmo sound clock has received multiple game-based updates in the past, including themes drawn from Animal Crossing and Mario. The product received a broader Version 4.0.0 update in May that included a new feature, interface changes and various fixes.

Owners of the Alarmo sound clock will receive the seven Donkey Kong–themed alarms and the updated interface as part of the update released today. Nintendo may publish further patch notes that provide more detail on the new sounds and any other changes.
