Nintendo Direct Confirms Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts on Xbox

Nintendo’s June 2026 Direct confirmed a slate of games that will appear on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC alongside Nintendo and PlayStation versions. The presentation highlighted Final Fantasy Resonance, Kingdom Hearts IV and Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion among cross-platform releases.
Final Fantasy Resonance is scheduled for October 22, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Capcom set October 9, 2026 for the Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion. Square Enix confirmed a consolidated Kingdom Hearts Collection, bundling 1.5+2.5, 2.8 and III with the Re Mind DLC, for an October 8, 2026 launch on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. Kingdom Hearts IV was listed for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC without a release date.
Other dated announcements from the Direct include Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World on December 3, 2026, Tales of Eternia Remaster on October 15, 2026 and Atelier Karia: The Night Kingdom & the Guide of Memories in early 2027. A survivors-royale entry, JUJUTSU KAISEN RUMBLE: SURVIVATON, was given a 2026 release window to be specified later.
The broadcast also revisited titles already confirmed for Xbox or previously announced for multiple platforms. Those featured include Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Lords of the Fallen 2, Lies of P, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, Rayman Legends Retold, Devil May Cry 5, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Minecraft Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, Observer: System Redux, DayZ, Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection 2, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, SnowRunner and Final Fantasy XIV Online.
