Nintendo Direct June 2026: 50-minute show, 95-minute Treehouse

Nintendo streamed a 50-minute Direct on June 9, 2026, immediately followed by a 95-minute Treehouse livestream. The broadcast was the company’s first full first-party Direct in nine months and was available worldwide online.

The Direct began at staggered regional times to reach audiences in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific: 7 a.m. PDT (10 a.m. EDT) in North America, 3 p.m. BST in the U.K., 4 p.m. CEST in much of Europe and late evening in parts of Asia-Pacific (11 p.m. JST / 12 a.m. AEST). The Treehouse session started directly after the main presentation in each region.

Nintendo confirmed and dated several titles during the Direct. Star Fox, Rhythm Heaven Groove and Splatoon Raiders received prominent segments with release dates or windows. Presenters also mentioned Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave and referenced additional first-party projects scheduled for the coming year.

The 50-minute Direct focused on release windows, trailers and new details for software on both the Nintendo Switch and the Switch 2. The 95-minute Treehouse stream provided extended gameplay, hands-on demonstrations and developer commentary.

Nintendo used the combined format to show product timing and to give developers room to demonstrate gameplay. The company scheduled the broadcasts across time zones and followed its recent pattern of pairing a concise announcement show with a longer developer-focused stream.
