Nintendo Direct June 9: exact start times by time zone

Nintendo will stream a 50-minute Nintendo Direct on June 9 at 3pm BST / 7am PT / 10am ET, followed by a 90-minute Treehouse: Live with extended gameplay.

Nintendo will air a 50-minute Nintendo Direct on June 9 beginning at 3pm BST / 7am PT / 10am ET. The presentation will focus on titles for the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Switch 2.

Nintendo confirmed the schedule via the Nintendo Today app. The Direct will be followed immediately by a 90-minute Nintendo Treehouse: Live broadcast that will show extended gameplay and developer commentary for selected titles featured in the Direct.

Regional start times listed by Nintendo include 7am PDT / 8am MDT / 9am CDT / 10am EDT in North America; 3pm BST in the UK and Ireland; 4pm CEST / 5pm EEST in parts of Europe; and later times in Asia and Oceania such as 11pm JST, 10pm AWST and midnight AEST. Local times may vary.

It is Nintendo’s first full-length Direct in about nine months. Nintendo has not published a full first-party release schedule for the rest of 2026, and the only major Nintendo-published title still without full detail is Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. Nintendo has not shared a list of confirmed announcements for the show.

The Treehouse broadcast will provide longer gameplay segments and developer discussion that do not fit within the Direct. Nintendo will stream both presentations on its official channels and through the Nintendo Today app. Viewers should tune in at the regional times listed to watch announcements and extended gameplay.
