Nintendo will remove “My” from My Nintendo Store and rename the regional web storefront Nintendo Store on May 27 in the UK, Germany, Australia, Japan, Spain and Korea. The company said the change will not affect products or services.

The announcement appeared on several regional Nintendo Store accounts on X, including the UK, German, Australian, Japanese, Spanish and Korean profiles. Each post listed May 27 as the effective date and included the line, “There will be no change to the service or products.”

The posts offered no additional operational details. Nintendo did not specify whether account names, loyalty links or past order histories will be updated automatically under the new store name. The company did not provide information about any changes to inventory, shipping or customer support.

The renaming aligns the regional web storefronts with the Nintendo Store app the company released last year. The change creates a single naming convention between the app and the listed online stores.

Nintendo has not confirmed whether the renaming will apply to the North American storefront or provided a timeline for other regions. The regional announcements were limited to the markets named in the posts.

My Nintendo Store has functioned as Nintendo’s online merchandise outlet in several countries, offering apparel, accessories and collectibles tied to Nintendo franchises.
