Nintendo’s May 28 North America eShop update added multiple new releases to the Switch digital store, with listings for both current Switch hardware and titles noted as compatible with Nintendo Switch 2. The update includes indie games, family-licensed releases and major third-party entries, with release dates and prices shown on the North American eShop.
Yacht Club Games’ Mina The Hollower is listed at $19.99 and appeared on the Switch eShop May 29. The action-adventure pixel game casts players as a Hollower who tunnels through hazards, uses a whip and equips sidearms and trinkets to explore a cursed island. PM Studios released Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen on May 28 for $35.99; the family adventure, written by Joe Brumm, features hand-drawn worlds and animated cutscenes. Square Enix has FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH scheduled for June 3 on Nintendo platforms at $49.99; the title continues Cloud’s journey after Midgar and adds expanded open areas and chocobo travel.
Konami lists eFootball Kick-Off! for June 3 at $19.99 and identifies it as the franchise’s first release on a Nintendo console, offering local and online play plus club- and World Tour-style modes. Dragami Games’ Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP appears as a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition at $44.99, and BeXide’s Touhou Yukkuri Mountain has a Switch 2 edition priced at $14.84. Several other releases in the update include Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5, Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis: Next!, Bag Fight: Gem Chest Edition and Micro Overdrive: Home Tour, spanning genres such as puzzle, horror, racing and simulation with prices ranging from about $1.00 to $29.99.
The eShop refresh also highlighted trial and demo offers. Devolver Digital’s BALL x PIT is available as a timed game trial for Nintendo Switch Online members through June 1, and Nintendo’s Pictonico! provides a free-to-start demo with optional paid volumes.
