Nintendo Music adds 10 Star Fox tracks ahead of Switch 2
Nintendo Music released 10 orchestral tracks from Star Fox for Switch 2 on May 8, 2026. The set runs about 30 minutes and requires an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to stream.
Nintendo added 10 tracks from Star Fox for Switch 2 to its Nintendo Music mobile app on May 8, 2026. The collection runs roughly 30 minutes and was released ahead of the game’s Switch 2 launch on June 25, 2026.
The selection includes Title Theme; Opening Theme; Corneria; Star Map; Meteo; Area 6; Star Wolf’s Theme; Main Menu; Venom Incident; and Mission Accomplished.
Listening requires the Nintendo Music app and an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription. The Nintendo Music service also hosts other game soundtracks, including a 39-track Lylat Wars soundtrack.
Nintendo described the drop as: “Ten tracks from Star Fox are being added early.” The release is labeled a special addition on the app.
Switch Online’s Nintendo Classics library continues to offer the original Nintendo 64 Star Fox and the SNES Fox titles for users who want to revisit earlier entries before the Switch 2 release.
The original 1997 Nintendo 64 Star Fox credited composers Koji Kondo and Hajime Wakai. The new Switch 2 tracks on Nintendo Music are orchestral in style and total about half an hour.
