Nintendo Music Adds 18 Mario Galaxy Free-Roam Tracks

Nintendo Music added 18 Free Roam tracks from the Mario Galaxy series to the Mario Kart World collection on June 9, 2026. The new material is available to anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online membership through the Nintendo Music service.

Eight tracks come from Super Mario Galaxy and ten come from Super Mario Galaxy 2. Examples from Super Mario Galaxy include Egg Planet, Enter Bowser Jr.!, Rosalina in the Observatory and Final Battle with Bowser. Examples from Super Mario Galaxy 2 include Yoshi Star Galaxy, Starship Mario 1, Digga-Leg Puzzle and Bowser’s Galaxy Generator.

The additions follow a prior update that introduced the Mario Kart World soundtrack and 130 tracks. Nintendo had previously indicated Free Roam songs from the Mario Galaxy titles would be included in a later update; the June 9 release completes that set of Free Roam pieces.

The Nintendo Music platform recently added web browser playback and expanded support for iPad and CarPlay, along with Siri search integration to help subscribers find and play tracks across supported devices. Subscribers can browse the Mario Kart World playlist within the Nintendo Music interface and stream or download available tracks while their Switch Online membership is active.

Access to the new tracks requires a current Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Users without an active subscription do not have access to the Nintendo Music library. The June 9 update made the specific Free Roam tracks from both Mario Galaxy titles available to listeners on supported devices.
