Nintendo lays out Switch 2 third-party slate for 2026
Nintendo posted release dates and seasonal windows for third-party Switch 2 games in 2026, including Pragmata (April 17), Indiana Jones (May 12), Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (June 3) and 007 First Light (summer).
Nintendo published an update listing third-party games scheduled for the Switch 2 in 2026, providing firm release dates for several titles and seasonal windows for others.
The company gave dates for multiple games: Capcom’s Pragmata on April 17, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on May 12, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition on May 22, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on June 3, eFootball Kick-Off! on June 3, Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok on June 9, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales on June 18 and Culdcept Begins on July 16.
Nintendo assigned seasonal windows for a few entries, listing 007 First Light and Orbitals for summer 2026, Village in the Shade for autumn 2026, and Professor Layton and The New World of Steam for release sometime in 2026.
The update noted additional expected arrivals later in the year, including editions of Elden Ring titled Tarnished Edition and The Duskbloods.
Nintendo identified publishers contributing to the Switch 2 catalog, naming Capcom, Square Enix, Bandai Namco and Level-5 among those supplying titles. The company wrote that the examples provided “are some examples of titles for Nintendo Switch 2 from other software publishers that will be released in April 2026 and beyond” and that, with publisher support, the lineup “is the largest ever following a platform launch.”
The announcement was posted on Nintendo’s official channels and follows the Switch 2 launch earlier this year. Nintendo did not include sales projections or additional platform feature details in the software update, focusing the post on release timing and publisher participation.
