Nintendo Treehouse: Live reveals Star Fox, Splatoon, Rhythm

Nintendo streamed a 90-minute Treehouse: Live session in June 2026 following a 50-minute Direct. The presentation featured extended gameplay for Star Fox on Switch 2, Splatoon Raiders and Rhythm Heaven Groove.

The stream presented continuous play footage and separate game segments so viewers could watch full runs or jump to individual demos. Clips were made available for audiences who preferred specific game showcases.

Star Fox coverage included single-player sequences, cooperative play between two players and a GameChat multiplayer setup. Nintendo confirmed the Star Fox single-player and co-op build will arrive on Switch 2 later this month.

The Splatoon Raiders segment focused on team-based action and mission structure, showing squad mechanics and combat pacing. Rhythm Heaven Groove presented sample rhythm challenges and the input methods players will use in its stages.

The Treehouse session emphasized hands-on footage rather than trailers or cinematic reveals, highlighting mechanics, level design and multiplayer features through uninterrupted play.
