No More Room in Hell 2 launches on PS5

No More Room in Hell 2 launched today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The stand-alone sequel to a 2011 Half-Life 2 mod is now listed on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and marks the series’ first appearance on PlayStation hardware.

The game left early access on PC ahead of the full release. On the PlayStation Store the PS5 edition is priced at $29.99 and shows a user rating of 4.88 out of 5 stars. PlayStation Plus members can purchase the game for $23.99 with a 20% launch discount available through Aug. 17.

No More Room in Hell 2 is an eight-player cooperative action title with two distinct modes. Players take the roles of emergency responders sent into locations overrun by zombies. According to the game’s official overview, “Eight players must use their wits and deadly reflexes to survive the relentless forces of the undead,” and the description highlights proximity voice chat, scarce resources and the need for communication and strategy.

The sequel preserves the survival and cooperative elements of the original mod and expands them into a stand-alone product for both PC and console audiences. The title is available now on the PlayStation Store for PS5 and on digital storefronts for Xbox Series X|S and PC.
