NTE v1.1 adds Taygedo mute, Porsche 918 and Sunward Island

Hotta will release NTE v1.1 on June 3, adding an option to mute the otter Taygedo, a Porsche 918 Spyder gacha and a new Sunward Island area.

Hotta will release update v1.1 for the free-to-play open-world game NTE on June 3. The patch introduces an option to mute the otter character Taygedo during story cutscenes, a new playable area called Sunward Island and narrative content tied to an antagonist group known as The Scarlet Letter.

The update includes a paid collaboration that adds the Porsche 918 Spyder as a drivable vehicle and a themed outfit for protagonist Zero. The Porsche content will be distributed through a gacha that accepts the in-game currencies Annulith or Fons.

v1.1 adds a new episode titled Dreamwalk Corridor and expands the main story to feature The Scarlet Letter more prominently. Two new playable characters arrive: Lacrimosa, who comes with five outfits and new open-world activities, and Chaos, who receives new costumes and related content. The update also introduces limited-time boards and city hangouts linked to those characters.

Hotta is adding several new systems and online activities. A built-in social feed called Bagel SNS will let players share photos and receive likes in-game. A six-racer combat mode called the Underground Circuit and an online fighting minigame named Fight Club will be playable online. The studio plans rotating events across the v1.1 period, including double-reward windows, free gacha pulls and time-limited event chains such as Sunward Travelouge and Underground Circuit events scheduled from early June into July.

The published patch notes and optimization roadmap list multiple quality-of-life changes. Planned improvements include better controller responsiveness and DualSense feel, mobile performance boosts and fixes for select Android compatibility issues. Hotta will add vehicle auto-drive, new fast-travel points, plot summaries when skipping cutscenes and phone customization options. Vehicle handling and tuning adjustments, a third-person driving camera height option, improved dodge detection and skill queuing for group combat, and a number of mini-game and housing bug fixes are also included. NPCs will react when players take selfies. The update adds new properties and commissions, including a Pegasus Residence and a high-risk commission called Mist Pursuit.

Hotta confirmed the v1.1 rollout date of June 3 and noted the title will arrive on additional stores, including Steam, the Epic Games Store, Samsung’s Galaxy Store and NVIDIA GeForce NOW. The update packages narrative content, new characters, gameplay systems and stability improvements for the free-to-play title.
