Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams Coming to PS Plus Premium Aug. 18

Capcom’s Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams will join PlayStation Plus Premium classics for PS5 and PS4 on August 18, 2026; Sony will announce the full Extra and Premium lineup by August 12.

Sony confirmed that Capcom’s PlayStation 2 action RPG Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams will join the PlayStation Plus Premium classics catalog for PS5 and PS4 on August 18, 2026.

The inclusion was announced during June’s PlayStation State of Play. Sony will publish the full PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium August lineup by August 12 and will list the next games scheduled to leave the service on August 18.

Sony is testing a staggered release schedule in the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan, which can produce different launch dates for Extra and Premium additions in those countries. Premium classics have typically launched across regions at the same time, so Onimusha is expected to become available worldwide on August 18.

Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams originally released on PlayStation 2. The title combines action and hack-and-slash combat with role-playing elements and is part of Capcom’s Onimusha series. Through the PlayStation Plus Premium classics tier, the game will be playable on PS5 and PS4.

Subscribers will see the full schedule of arrivals and departures when Sony posts the Extra and Premium lineup by August 12, with Onimusha joining the classics on August 18.
