Capcom released Onimusha: Way of the Sword on the PlayStation Store for PS5. The title is the first mainline Onimusha entry since Dawn of Dreams in 2006. The base edition is priced at $69.99; a Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and a Premium Deluxe Edition is $89.99. A free demo can be downloaded by all PS5 users and does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription.

The Deluxe Edition includes the full game plus in-game charms named Oni Lady, Little Dancer and Mentor; four alternate sword appearances called Bamboo & Panda, Whittled Oar, Raizan and Enryuu; a red armor outfit for Musashi; and an Oni Gauntlet named Crimson Lotus. The Premium Deluxe Edition includes all Deluxe items and adds three haori variants — Hellfire, Moonlight and Cloudbiter — additional outfits for Okuni labeled Flower Dance, Goldfish Dance and Oni Dance, three outfits for the Oni Lady called Bird Call, Snow Camellia and Elegance, and an in-game mini digital soundtrack.

Players can purchase any edition through the PlayStation Store on PS5 or try the free demo before buying. Onimusha is an action-adventure series developed by Capcom that mixes samurai-themed combat with supernatural elements. The series’ previous main entry, Dawn of Dreams, was released in 2006.
