Over 30 games hit Xbox May 25-29, led by 007 First Light
More than 30 games arrive on Xbox May 25-29, headlined by 007 First Light and featuring Mina The Hollower, Yerba Buena and five titles added to Xbox Game Pass.
More than 30 games are scheduled to release on Xbox between May 25 and May 29, spanning licensed releases, indie platformers, horror entries and family titles. Major launches include 007 First Light on May 27, Mina The Hollower on May 29 and Yerba Buena on May 26.
007 First Light arrives May 27 as an origin story that follows a young recruit in MI6’s training program. The title focuses on Bond’s early development and training scenarios prior to his career as a full-time agent.
Mina The Hollower, from the studio behind Shovel Knight, releases May 29. The game is a gothic action-adventure built around exploration, secrets and combat across interconnected locales. Yerba Buena lands May 26 as a surreal puzzle-platformer in which a player-controlled NPC uses a device called the Oscillator to try to save a virtualized San Francisco.
Horror entries also feature in the schedule. Poppy Playtime: Chapter 5 is set for May 27 and continues the series’ factory-based horror, while other independent horror and mystery titles are slated across the week.
Xbox Game Pass will add five titles during the period. Escape Simulator joins the service on May 26. Echo Generation 2, a turn-based sci-fi deckbuilding RPG, becomes available on May 27 alongside The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition. Crashout Crew and Kabuto Park are added on May 28. Subscribers will be able to download and play these games without separate purchases while they remain on the service.
The release slate also covers farming and life-simulation games, with Cottonville arriving May 25 and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar on May 28. Family-oriented and licensed releases include Bluey’s Quest for the Gold Pen and Nickelodeon Extreme Tennis, both due May 28. Racing, roguelike and puzzle entries appear throughout the week, including Nitro City Racing on May 27, Into the Slimy Mines on May 29 and One Move Away on May 28. Smaller indie and narrative platformers such as Blueberry and Mel The Pyramid Cat are scheduled for May 28.
The May 25-29 lineup brings a mix of genres to Xbox platforms and offers several immediate additions to Game Pass.
