Paradox Drive adds Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex to Pokémon TCG Pocket
Pokémon TCG Pocket will add the Paradox Drive expansion on May 28, bringing Koraidon ex, Miraidon ex and new Future and Ancient card types for deck building.
The Pokémon Company will release the Paradox Drive expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket on May 28. The update goes live at 2 a.m. BST / 3 a.m. CEST on May 28 and at 6 p.m. PT on May 27 for North American players. The expansion will be available through the Pokémon TCG Pocket app.
Paradox Drive focuses on Paradox Pokémon and adds playable versions of Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex to the app. Those ex cards appear in the set and can be collected and used in decks within the game.
The expansion introduces two new card classifications, Future and Ancient. Cards bearing those labels feature mechanics that emphasize different mixes of attack and speed attributes. Early previews show the labels on multiple cards across the set and indicate players can shape decks around those characteristics.
Paradox Drive follows the recent Pulsing Aura expansion and continues the monthly release schedule for the digital trading card game. The new set expands the pool of cards available in Pokémon TCG Pocket.
The update provides new options for both competitive formats and casual play. Players will be able to construct decks that mix or concentrate on Future and Ancient cards together with the new Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex.
