PC Gaming Show 2026: Empulse, Thief and Game Pass dates
Nightdive’s Thief remaster, Empulse early access on June 24 and multiple Game Pass additions were announced at the PC Gaming Show 2026.
The PC Gaming Show 2026, held after the Xbox Games Showcase, featured a slate of Xbox-focused and PC releases presented by developers via livestream.
Nightdive Studios confirmed Thief: The Dark Project Remastered for winter 2026, a modern update of the 1998 stealth game for current hardware.
Empulse, a high-speed wall-running and mech-piloting shooter inspired by Titanfall, will enter early access on June 24. A trial will be available during Steam Next Fest starting June 15.
Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass featured in several announcements. Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions will enter early access on June 11. There Are No Ghosts at the Grand will appear on Game Pass and is available to demo and wishlist on Steam. Beast of Reincarnation from Game Freak will arrive on Game Pass on August 4. Armatus, a roguelite shooter set in a burning Paris, is scheduled for winter 2026 and will be on Game Pass.
Other dated releases and updates include Control Resonant on September 24, Planet Zoo 2 on October 13, and Valheim 1.0 with the Deep North update on September 9. Rivage will release on August 13 and offers a demo. Dave the Diver: In the Jungle DLC launches June 18.
Content updates and reveals covered a wide range of genres. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide adds the Skitarii class on June 23. Serious Sam: Shatterverse opened sign-ups for a Steam playtest. Abiotic Factor will receive the Entropic Break DLC in autumn 2026. Cassette Beasts 2002 was revealed, and Arkheron was shown as an isometric tower-climbing battle royale. El Paso, Elsewhere 2 and Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy were presented. A highlights reel for Exodus aired, and Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent is available now on PC.
Creative Assembly presented developer commentary on Total War: Warhammer 40,000 and indicated future beta opportunities. Across the stream, developers provided release dates, demo windows, early access timing and platform details for Xbox and PC.
