Persona 4 Revival rated ESRB 17+, appears on Xbox Store
Persona 4 Revival was rated ESRB Mature (17+) for mild blood, violence, sexual themes, partial nudity, strong language and alcohol reference, and was listed on the Xbox Store ahead of Sunday’s Xbox Games Showcase.
Atlus’s Persona 4 Revival received a Mature (17+) rating from the Entertainment Software Rating Board and was listed on the Xbox Store in the run-up to Microsoft’s Xbox Games Showcase, scheduled for Sunday at 10 a.m. PT / 6 p.m. UK time.
The ESRB record lists content descriptors that include mild blood, violence, sexual themes, partial nudity, strong language and references to alcohol. The entry provides a formal content classification ahead of any major publisher announcement about platforms or release timing.
The Xbox Store page confirms an Xbox listing for Persona 4 Revival but did not include a full release date or platform-specific details when it appeared publicly.
South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee has also rated Persona 4 Revival as part of a recent batch of submissions. Other titles in that batch include LEGO Skylines, Gears of War: E-Day, Ace Combat 8: Wings of Thieve and Marvel’s Guardians of…, reflecting several regional classification filings submitted ahead of upcoming events.
The ESRB issued ratings for other projects at the same time. Bendy and the Dark Revival received a Teen rating for Nintendo Switch, while Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival was rated Mature (17+) for Nintendo Switch 2 for a range of mature content.
Persona 4 was originally released by Atlus for PlayStation 2 in 2008. The role-playing game combined investigative and dungeon-crawling gameplay with social-simulation elements and later received expanded editions such as Persona 4 Golden. Atlus, now part of Sega, has released remasters and remakes across the Persona series in recent years.
