Persona 5 Royal (100+ hrs) drops below $20 on PS Store

Persona 5 Royal for PS5 is 70% off on the PlayStation Store, priced under $20. The sale includes post-release DLC and both English and Japanese audio.

Persona 5 Royal, a PS5 role-playing game with more than 100 hours of content, is on sale for under $20 on the PlayStation Store after a 70% discount off its usual $60 price. The discounted edition includes the base game and post-release downloadable content.

The sale runs through Sept. 24, 2026, at 2:59 a.m. EDT. The discounted version bundles roughly 40 DLC items released after the game’s initial launch; the PlayStation Store listing calls the package a “treasure trove” of downloadable content. The offer applies to the PS5 edition.

The game’s story starts when the protagonist transfers to a Tokyo high school and experiences a dream that warns, “You truly are a prisoner of fate. In the near future, ruin awaits you.” With the concept of “rehabilitation” in the narrative, the protagonist assumes the role of a Phantom Thief to rescue others from distorted desires.

Key gameplay elements include unlockable Personas, a customizable Thieves Den, multiple alternate endings that depend on player choices, and open exploration of Tokyo to find secrets. The edition on sale offers both English and Japanese voice tracks.

On the PlayStation Store the title holds a 4.88 out of 5 rating from more than 20,000 reviews. After Sept. 24 the game will return to its regular price of around $60, so buyers should complete purchases before the sale deadline.
