Persona 5 Tactica likely to leave PS Plus in September

Sony is expected to remove Persona 5 Tactica from PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in September 2026 after the game spends about a year on the service. The PlayStation Store’s Last Chance to Play page is likely to be updated by Aug. 18.

Sony rotates titles on PS Plus Extra and Premium. Games commonly leave the tiers after roughly 12 months or 24 months; some have been removed after about six months. Those timing patterns are used to forecast likely departures.

Persona 5 Tactica, a tactical spin-off of the Persona franchise, reaches one year on the service in September and is therefore among the candidates for removal. Subscribers who want to keep access without buying the game outright are advised to download or purchase it before it leaves the catalog.

Other titles added in September 2024 that remain in the catalog include Under the Waves, Chernobylite Complete Edition, Space Engineers and Ben 10. Those games have been on the service for about two years and could be removed unless they are retained for a full 24-month cycle or covered by other arrangements.

Far Cry 5 is still listed but is less likely to be removed because it is also available through Ubisoft+. Games added around September 2025 that remain available besides Persona 5 Tactica include Green Hell, Fate/Samurai Remnant, Crow Country, The Invincible and Conscript; each faces the same 12-month review point.

Sony typically publishes an official list of departing games shortly before removals and highlights them on the PlayStation Store’s Last Chance to Play page. The expected update by Aug. 18 should show any confirmed departures for September.

Subscribers should check the PlayStation Store after the update for the official list and take steps to keep any titles they do not want to lose access to through the subscription.
