Persona 6 Teaser Debuts at Xbox Showcase; Switch 2 Not Mentioned

Sega and Atlus revealed a short teaser for Persona 6 during the Xbox Game Showcase on June 7, 2026. The trailer did not include a release date or platform details and made no reference to a Nintendo Switch 2 version.

The teaser focused on atmosphere and branding rather than gameplay footage. The companies provided no technical information or launch window during the showcase.

Sega and Atlus confirmed development is under way but did not name target consoles for the next mainline entry. Some industry observers have suggested a 2027 release window, but no date has been announced by either company.

Atlus recently sent a survey to purchasers of Persona 3 Reload on the Nintendo Switch 2 asking about preferences for future Persona projects. The survey collects player feedback while the studio works on multiple titles; it does not specify platform plans for Persona 6.

Other franchise projects remain active. Atlus previously released a brief teaser for Persona 4 Revival and filed an updated trademark with a publication date of February 24. A teaser site for Persona 5 R lists PlayStation 4 as its platform at present.

At present, the only confirmed item is the Persona 6 teaser; platforms and a release date have not been announced. Further details are likely to appear in future updates or events.
