Sega and Atlus report the Persona franchise has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide, revealed alongside Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 and new fan artwork.
Sega and Atlus reported that the Persona franchise has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide. The total was revealed with the announcements of Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6 and accompanied by new artwork released to thank fans.
The update added the series shifted an additional 3.6 million copies since the start of April 2024. The companies highlighted recent releases such as Persona 3 Reload and Persona 5 Golden among the sales drivers during that period.
The broader Persona 5 family has passed 13 million units in total sales. That figure covers Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal plus spin-offs and related releases including Persona 5 Dancing in Starlight, Persona 5 Strikers and Persona 5 Tactica. Earlier company disclosures put combined sales of Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal at about 10.46 million units.
The announcement did not include a regional breakdown. Sega and Atlus released the sales figures alongside promotional materials for the new titles and did not provide release dates for Persona 4 Revival or Persona 6 in the same statement.
The Persona series is developed by Atlus and published by Sega. The franchise combines dungeon-crawling gameplay with social-simulation elements. The companies listed recent remakes and refreshed editions, including Persona 3 Reload and updated versions of earlier entries, among recent highlights in their sales update.
