Phantom Blade Zero gets Phantom Beast XR glasses

Viture and S‑Game are selling Phantom Beast XR glasses themed to Phantom Blade Zero for $599 on viture.com; pre-orders open now and units ship Oct. 29, the game’s PS5 launch day.

Viture partnered with Chinese studio S‑Game to produce a limited‑edition Phantom Beast version of its Beast XR glasses, available for pre-order at $599 exclusively on viture.com. Shipments start Oct. 29, the same day Phantom Blade Zero arrives on PS5.

The hardware applies the game’s “kungfupunk” look across surfaces and software. The frame and temples carry exclusive artwork, engravings and iconography from the game. The package includes a new carrying case, a removable strap and a detachable neck lanyard patterned with traditional wuxia motifs. Metalwork on the temples is shaped to evoke the instant a blade leaves its scabbard, and the on‑screen menu is reskinned to match Phantom Blade Zero’s interface.

Viture uses the same optical engine and display as its standard Beast model. The glasses use custom prism optics and Sony 0.68‑inch Micro‑OLED panels to produce a virtual screen Viture measures as 174 inches when viewed from 4 meters. The display runs at 120 Hz with 1,200p resolution per eye and a 1,250‑nit peak brightness. The headset offers nine levels of electrochromic tinting and a 58‑degree field of view. Built‑in VisionPair spatial tracking provides three degrees of freedom. Audio is handled by HARMAN AudioEFX spatial sound.

Users can choose five display modes, including a 32:9 panoramic option for very wide PC games, and enable real‑time 2D‑to‑3D conversion through Viture’s Immersive 3D feature. Companion apps SpaceWalker and Immersive 3D unlock multi‑window layouts for up to three screens and advanced display settings.

The frame uses a magnesium‑aluminum alloy and temples made from PC and TPE. Interpupillary distance adjusts from 58 to 70 mm. The glasses connect over USB‑C and offer plug‑and‑play support for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Steam Deck.

Console use requires Viture’s Pro Mobile Dock for PS5 and PS4; the same dock supports Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One plus other HDMI sources. A Mobile Dock Mini is available for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. Viture lists itself as the only XR glasses maker currently supporting Switch 2.

David Jiang, founder of Viture, described the collaboration as personal and tied to his upbringing in wuxia culture, adding that the design aims to make users ‘feel like they belong’ in the game’s world. Soulframe, founder and game director at S‑Game, said the glasses bring Phantom Blade Zero’s cinematic scale to a new medium and called XR ‘an exciting new stage for AAA gaming.’

This is Viture’s first collaboration with a Chinese game studio and follows the company’s previous AAA tie‑in, the Cyberpunk 2077 Luma Cyber XR Glasses. Viture markets Phantom Beast as a limited edition collectible; pre‑orders are exclusive to its website with shipping scheduled to match the game’s launch on Oct. 29.
