Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier Delisted From PS Store

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier has been removed from the PlayStation Store. The game’s PlayStation web page now leads to a broken link and the title cannot be bought on PS4 or PS5 consoles.

The 2017 cinematic adventure was among about a dozen Disney-owned games that were pulled from sale on Steam in April 2026 without prior notice. In May, PS4 and PS5 users reported the title no longer appeared for purchase through the consoles’ built-in stores. For a short time the PlayStation web storefront still showed a listing, but the public preview now redirects to a dead page.

No statement explaining the removal has been released by Sony, the game’s publisher or rights holder Disney. Console players who previously purchased Last Frontier can typically redownload owned copies, but new purchases are not available on the affected storefronts.

Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier is a narrative-driven adventure released in 2017. Reviews at launch were mixed: critics highlighted a gripping storyline and noted several technical issues that affected gameplay. A separate PSVR title, Crisis On the Planet of the Apes, remains available for purchase on the PlayStation Store.

Players have raised questions about licensing and long-term availability of older licensed games on digital platforms. Without an official explanation, the specific reason for Last Frontier’s removal remains unconfirmed.

The delisting follows other removals of older licensed titles from digital stores earlier this year.
