Play Yoshi and the Mysterious Book Early at Retail Kiosks
Nintendo of America will offer early demos of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book at select Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart stores in the U.S. via in-store demo kiosks.
Nintendo of America announced that fans can play Yoshi and the Mysterious Book before its release at select Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart locations in the United States. The game will be available on in-store Nintendo demo kiosks, giving shoppers a chance to try the title on Nintendo hardware.
The kiosks are part of Nintendo’s prelaunch promotions. Participating stores will run a demo build on display units intended for short play sessions. Nintendo has used retail demo kiosks for upcoming Switch titles in prior promotions.
The in-store demos will run ahead of the game’s 2019 release window and will be available while supplies and display space last. Exact dates and participating locations may vary by store; interested consumers should contact local Best Buy, GameStop, Target or Walmart outlets for availability and any time limits.
Yoshi and the Mysterious Book was not shown at Nintendo’s E3 2018 presentation and is slated to arrive in 2019. Nintendo did not provide information on demo session lengths, age restrictions, or whether the kiosk demo differs from the final release.
