PlayStation opens Fable PS5 pre-orders; Premium includes DLC

PlayStation Store has begun PS5 pre-orders for Fable, which is scheduled to launch on Feb. 23, 2027. The base edition is listed at £60/$70. A Premium Edition is available at £90/$100 and includes the expansion Order of the Hero.

Playground Games described Order of the Hero as a story-driven expansion set in Albion that adds a new region centered on a dark, ancient cult. The studio said the expansion will add new locations and challenges, and that player actions can earn the cultists’ favour and elevate the player to the group’s overseer.

The developer confirmed the expansion will arrive after the game’s February 2027 launch but did not provide a firm release date or separate pricing for the DLC.

The Premium Edition includes five days of early access, a Premium Edition Content Pack with two named armour sets — Splendid Armour and Bastard Armour — plus in-game gifts, a digital artbook and the game soundtrack. The base edition does not include these extras.

Playground Games will release a gameplay demo on Wednesday, June 10. The studio described the demo as exploring what it means to build an “extraordinary life” in Fable and indicated it will show more of the game’s systems and how players shape characters’ stories and reputations in Albion.

Pre-orders are available now on the PlayStation Store for the PS5 edition. Buyers should check the store listing for regional pricing, details on the early access window and the precise contents of the digital items. Beyond Order of the Hero, the developer has not announced further expansions or additional post-launch content.
