PlayStation reveals FlexStrike, Pulse Elevate and 27″ monitor
PlayStation announced the FlexStrike wireless fight stick (Aug. 6, $199.99), Pulse Elevate wireless speakers (launch later in 2026), and a 27-inch QHD monitor (Aug. 27, $349.99).
PlayStation announced three new hardware products for 2026: the FlexStrike wireless fight stick, the Pulse Elevate wireless speakers and a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor. The FlexStrike ships Aug. 6 for $199.99 and the monitor ships Aug. 27 for $349.99. The speakers are scheduled to launch later in 2026 with pricing to be announced.
The FlexStrike can be used wired or wirelessly and ships with a PlayStation Link adapter that PlayStation says delivers ultra-low latency as low as 4 milliseconds in wireless mode. The stick is designed for lap or table use, with a non-slip bottom and a lower profile. Face buttons sit on a slight angle intended to reduce wrist strain. A magnetic back cover provides access to a toolless system for swapping restrictor gates among square, circular and octagonal patterns. The package includes a sling carry case with compartments for the stick, cables and accessories. Pre-orders for the FlexStrike begin June 12. PlayStation said PC compatibility for the wireless features will roll out after launch.
The Pulse Elevate are PlayStation’s first wireless stereo speakers. Each speaker uses planar magnetic drivers and pairs with PlayStation Link for lossless, low-latency audio. The system supports Tempest 3D AudioTech on compatible games. Each speaker tilts for angle adjustment and contains a rechargeable battery rated for about 12 hours of use. The speakers can maintain a PlayStation Link connection while handling a simultaneous Bluetooth call. They include a built-in microphone with AI-enhanced noise rejection that PlayStation demonstrated isolating from loud background music. PlayStation has not provided a final ship date or price for the speakers and said more details will appear on the PlayStation Blog.
The 27-inch monitor uses a 2560 x 1440 QHD IPS panel with High Dynamic Range. When connected to a PS5 or PS5 Pro, HDR settings can be auto-configured during setup. The monitor supports Variable Refresh Rate and runs up to 120 Hz on PlayStation consoles; compatible PCs can reach up to 240 Hz. A built-in DualSense Charging Hook allows a DualSense or DualSense Edge controller to rest and charge beneath the screen. The monitor will be available in the U.S. and Japan, with pre-orders opening June 5.
In hands-on demonstrations, reviewers noted the FlexStrike’s lap comfort and the speed of gate changes, the Pulse Elevate’s clarity and spatial cues in game audio, and the monitor’s color and smooth refresh during gameplay.
PlayStation provided confirmed prices and ship dates for the FlexStrike and the monitor. The Pulse Elevate speakers were given a release window of later in 2026, with final pricing and a ship date to be announced.
