PlayStation posts free PS5 demos from India Hero Project

PlayStation released free PS5 demos for Suri: The Seventh Note and Haunt Hunter on the PS Store; downloads do not require a PS Plus subscription.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has published free PS5 demos for two games developed through its PlayStation India Hero Project. The demos for Suri: The Seventh Note and Haunt Hunter appeared on the PlayStation Store this week and are available to all PS5 owners at no cost and without a PS Plus subscription.

Both titles were selected and funded through the PlayStation India Hero Project, an incubation program that supports emerging Indian developers and provides publishing support. Sony lists PC as an additional platform for both games while identifying the PS5 as their current console exclusive.

Suri: The Seventh Note mixes adventure and rhythm-based mechanics. Players control Ajira, a young girl who sets out to find a rare fruit believed to help her mother. The game includes platforming sections, enemy encounters and escape sequences that synchronize with musical beats, and the demo presents early examples of those systems and the story tone.

Haunt Hunter is an action-horror title in which players assume the role of investigator Arjun Miller exploring the abandoned Anya Manon Hospital. The game combines combat, creature encounters and environmental puzzles as players investigate the facility and attempt to survive. The demo offers a preview of the setting, suspense and horror elements the full game intends to deliver.

No retail release dates or pricing for the full games have been announced. The demos remain free on the PlayStation Store and do not require a PlayStation Plus subscription. PlayStation India’s Hero Project is one of several regional incubation programs operated by Sony, including initiatives in other countries that have supported multiple PS5 releases.
