PlayStation Plus adds Final Fantasy XVI, Sonic X

PlayStation Plus adds Final Fantasy XVI (June 16), Sonic X Shadow Generations (June 10 US/UK, June 11 Japan), Kingdom Come: Deliverance (June 23) and other titles to its June Game Catalog.

Sony has added multiple games to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for June. New entries appear on the Extra and Premium tiers and cover PS5 and PS4 where noted, with some release dates varying by market.

Final Fantasy XVI will join the catalog on June 16 for PS5 and will be available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. The title is the 16th mainline entry in the series and is presented in an action-RPG format, following Clive Rosfield as he confronts war and powerful Eikonic abilities across Valisthea.

Sonic X Shadow Generations will be available June 10 in the US and the UK and June 11 in Japan on PS5 and PS4. The package includes a Shadow-focused campaign that explores the character’s past and a remastered version of Sonic Generations with updated visuals and bonus content.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance returns on June 23 in the US, UK and Japan with a PS5 version that features graphical updates such as 4K resolution, higher framerates and high-resolution textures. Life is Strange: Double Exposure will also arrive June 23 in those markets; it follows Max Caulfield as she navigates parallel timelines after a murder.

Farming Simulator 25, Blades of Fire and Black Desert are scheduled for June 30 in the US, UK and Japan. Farming Simulator 25 adds new crops including rice and spinach, new environments, expanded production chains and more than 400 licensed machines. Blades of Fire is a deliberate-action game focused on forging weapons that change through player choices. Black Desert is an open-world MMORPG from Pearl Abyss.

PlayStation Plus Premium will add Gitaroo Man on June 16. The release is a remaster of the PlayStation 2 rhythm game and marks its first availability on PS4 and PS5, including the original soundtrack and the series art style.

Sony noted that the full lineup will be available on June 16 in other regions and that Game Catalog content and digital streaming availability may differ by country. The company said it is testing new delivery methods for catalog titles in select markets and advised subscribers to check the PlayStation Store for availability in their region.
