PlayStation Plus adds Big Walk free for August 4, 2026

Sony confirmed Big Walk will be available to PlayStation Plus base-tier subscribers on August 4, 2026. The game launches day one on PS5 and will be free to claim in all regions the same day. Once claimed, it remains in a subscriber’s library.

The title comes from the studio behind Untitled Goose Game and is described as a cooperative multiplayer adventure focused on teamwork and communication. The developer described Big Walk as centered on “teamwork and talking,” and invited players to “set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries.”

Gameplay requires players to work together, using a variety of tools and toys to stay in contact and to find new ways to communicate when characters lose speech. The developer highlights cooperative puzzles and nonverbal interaction rather than competitive modes.

Sony will reveal the full PlayStation Plus August lineup on Wednesday, July 29, which will confirm any additional titles for the month. Big Walk will be included in the monthly offering that does not use staggered regional rollouts.

Big Walk’s day-one availability on PlayStation Plus follows a recent pattern of publishers releasing new titles through subscription services at launch. PS5 owners on the PlayStation Plus base tier will be able to download the game on release day without an extra purchase.

Players who want to keep Big Walk should add it to their library on August 4, 2026, when it becomes available worldwide on PS5.
