PlayStation Plus Extra adds 2025 PS5 roguelite Ball x Pit

PlayStation Plus Extra has added Ball x Pit, a 2025 PS5 roguelite, to its catalog. The game is available now to subscribers in Japan and the U.K.; U.S. subscribers will have access by noon Pacific Time. Horror action-adventure Slitterhead is included in the same regional rollout.

Ball x Pit is described in PlayStation Store listings as a fast-paced fantasy roguelite. Players search for orbs to descend deeper into a seemingly bottomless pit of monsters, craft arcane ammunition and other resources, and recruit additional heroes while pursuing treasure.

Slitterhead takes place in the densely packed streets of Kowlong. Players take on the role of the Hyoki, a formless entity without memory whose objective is to hunt and eliminate Slitterheads, creatures that disguise themselves as humans.

Both titles appear in the PlayStation Store listings for the PS Plus Extra catalog and are available to subscribers in regions that have received the update. Sony is staggering the catalog release across regions, which is why access dates differ by country.

Subscribers in the U.S., the U.K. and Japan can download a final September batch of titles on Tuesday, Sept. 29. That batch includes Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Sniper Elite: Resistance.

The Extra tier provides a rotating set of full games as part of PlayStation Plus’ catalog offering; additions to the catalog vary by region and by the service’s release schedule.
