PlayStation State of Play: Wolverine, Silent Hill and More
State of Play starts at 2 p.m. PT with 60+ minutes of PS5 news; Marvel’s Wolverine is confirmed and Silent Hill: Townfall is likely after an ESRB rating.
Sony will host the PlayStation State of Play livestream in June 2026, beginning at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST. The event is scheduled to run for more than an hour; Sony announced it will deliver over 60 minutes of PS5 news, updates and announcements from studios worldwide. The company arranged a theatrical screening at the Alamo Drafthouse that includes a State of Play–themed menu.
Insomniac’s Marvel’s Wolverine is confirmed to appear at the show. Silent Hill: Townfall received an ESRB rating this week; ESRB listings often precede public presentations, making a State of Play appearance likely.
Other names circulating before the broadcast include Rayman and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Onimusha has a leaked release date that could be revealed at State of Play or at the upcoming Summer Game Fest.
A new God of War entry is heavily rumored. Break In, reported as a rebrand of developer Fairgames$, is expected to feature. Bloober Team’s Cronos appeared in earlier leaks but is now thought more likely to debut at Summer Game Fest.
Less substantiated rumors mention possible revivals for inFamous and Sly Cooper; those reports lack concrete confirmation.
State of Play broadcasts typically showcase first- and third-party projects, provide release timing, and show trailers or gameplay footage. Sony will publish highlights and coverage after the live broadcast for viewers who miss the stream.
The June show follows a seasonal pattern of publishers concentrating announcements ahead of the summer marketing cycle.
