PlayStation State of Play to feature Wolverine, Silent Hill

Sony will stream a PlayStation State of Play in June 2026. The broadcast starts at 2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET / 11 p.m. CEST and is scheduled to run for more than 60 minutes.

Marvel’s Wolverine is confirmed to appear during the presentation. Silent Hill: Townfall, a timed PS5 exclusive, is expected to be included after it received an ESRB rating ahead of the show.

Sony promoted the event with a theatrical screening at the Alamo Drafthouse that will offer a State of Play–themed menu. The company described the program as a global update from its top studios.

Other items circulating before the broadcast include potential news about Rayman and a possible release date for Onimusha: Way of the Sword; a recent leak indicated a near-term release for Onimusha. Bloober Team’s Cronos has leaked but is believed by some to be headed to Summer Game Fest instead of the PlayStation showcase.

Heavily circulated rumors name a new God of War title and a game called Break In, reported to be a rebrand of the project formerly known as Fairgames$. Less substantiated rumors mention revivals of inFamous and Sly Cooper.

Viewers can watch the broadcast on PlayStation’s official channels via the embedded livestream link. The program’s longer runtime indicates the presentation will include trailers, gameplay updates and studio announcements rather than a brief trailer reel.
