PlayStation Store Adds The Immortal John Triptych to PS5
PlayStation Store released The Immortal John Triptych, a $24.99 PS5 anthology of three point-and-click games that were previously available only on PC.
PlayStation Store has released The Immortal John Triptych for PS5 at $24.99. The anthology packages three point-and-click titles that were previously available only on PC: Four Last Things, The Procession to Calvary and Death of the Reprobate. The collection is published by Akupara Games and developed by Joe Richardson.
Each game is a stand-alone story assembled from cut-up Renaissance paintings and set to Classical music. An official overview reads: “Immortal John is dying. A holy war has ended in chaos. Sin itself demands reckoning. Three interconnected tales unfold across a world built from Renaissance paintings and Classical music, where the ridiculous and the profound collide.”
The PS5 release adds never-before-seen deleted scenes, updated language parity across the three titles and an expanded soundtrack by Eduardo Antonello that includes new original recordings. Console-specific adjustments include manual saves for Four Last Things, a new backflip animation in The Procession to Calvary and a button that triggers a trumpeted fanfare for celebratory moments.
The Immortal John Triptych is available to buy on the PlayStation Store for $24.99. PlayStation Plus Premium members can cloud stream all three games. The collection had a 4.73 out of 5 rating on the PlayStation Store at launch.
Each title retains its point-and-click mechanics and collage art style and includes updated audio and interface elements for the PS5 release, making Joe Richardson’s visual and comedic approach available to console players.
