PlayStation Store worldwide update: releases and patches

Sony updated the PlayStation Store worldwide on Aug. 4, 2026, adding new releases, downloadable content and patches for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2. The August PlayStation Plus Essential lineup includes Big Walk for PS5, Dying Light 2 Stay Human — Reloaded Edition for PS4 and PS5, and Signalis for PS4.

The update includes full retail launches, reissues and definitive editions across multiple genres. New entries added to the store include BLUE REFLECTION Quartet, Voidtrain: Definitive Edition, Volcano Princess, Kusan: City of Wolves, Hyperdrive Inn, System Critical 3 and Space Tail: Definitive Edition. The release list also features smaller experimental projects such as Geppy-X, Leafy Corner, Radiation Caterpillar and The Perplexing Orb, along with family-oriented titles including PAW Patrol: Dino World and Grizzy and the Lemmings — Crazy Party.

Several collector and special editions appeared in the update, including Collector’s Editions for The Harmony Chronicles: Elixir Revolution and Dark Town Secrets: The Last Burger. The store changes also cover console archive releases and a range of downloadable expansions and add-ons.

Sony distributed platform-specific builds and patches intended to address performance and stability on current and last-generation hardware. PlayStation VR2 owners received content updates and fixes designed to improve headset compatibility and game performance; published notes did not list detailed patch changes for individual titles.

PlayStation publishes store updates on a weekly schedule, generally on Tuesdays, with changes applied across global regions. Players can download new purchases, claim PlayStation Plus Essential titles for August if they have an active subscription, and apply available patches through their console storefronts or via PlayStation’s mobile and web interfaces.

The three PlayStation Plus Essential titles will be available to eligible subscribers throughout August.
